You are invited to attend Whispering Woods Community Association (WWCA) board meetings. Board meetings are held once a month in the Broadneck Branch Library meeting Room, 1275 Green Holly Drive, Annapolis, MD 21409 from 6:30 to 8:30. All residents are encouraged to attend. There will be no July meeting due to Library scheduling conflicts.
What to expect when you attend a meeting:
Monthly Meeting of Directors: The WWCA Board of Directors meets monthly at the Broadneck Library from 6:30p-8:30p. The board prepares an agenda based on the business at hand. The agenda allows 30 minutes at the beginning of the meeting for “resident forum”. During resident forum, residents are welcome to ask questions, address concerns, and share ideas with the board. After resident forum has concluded, the board has a full agenda to work through with a limited amount of time. Residents typically do not stay for the remainder of the board meeting but if they chose to do so, it is for observation purposes only. If a resident is unable to attend the resident forum portion of the meeting, please contact the board by email email@example.com or 410-757-5555. This meeting can be rescheduled in advance or at the last minute due to board member conflicts.
Annual Meeting: The WWCA Annual Meeting is a meeting of the members (members are the residents of Whispering Woods) and is held in April at the Broadneck Library from 6:30p-8:30p. The meeting date varies but residents are notified in advance through the annual assessments mailing, the community website, and the Whisper newsletter. Unlike the monthly Board meetings, this meeting is geared around the residents. The meeting agenda consists of guest speakers (County representatives, Police Officers, Fire Firefighters, etc), an overview of the state of the community, a Treasurer’s report, board elections, and resident forum. All residents are encouraged to attend.
